Soul Therapy Media Founder, Julian B. Kiganda, Wins Innovation Award for
Unique Approach to Workplace Mental Health and Wellness

Washington, D.C., November 20, 2025 — Workplace burnout has reached alarming levels, with over 77% of employees reporting work-related stress and 40% considering leaving their jobs due to chronic burnout. In response, Soul Therapy Media (STM), a creative wellness agency, is transforming how organizations approach mental health, wellness, and workplace culture.

Founder Julian B. Kiganda will receive the Innovation Award at the WBEC Metro NY and Greater DMV Impact Awards in Washington, DC on November 20, 2025, and was recently named a national semi-finalist in the WBENC Pitch Competition, selected from hundreds of entries nationwide. As the regional partner organization of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council—the nation’s leading certifier and advocate for women-owned businesses—WBEC Metro NY and Greater DMV champions the growth, visibility, and competitiveness of women entrepreneurs.

This award recognizes women business owners who are using creativity and purpose to create real impact in the community. Receiving this honor is a powerful acknowledgment of STM’s evolution and the urgent need for holistic well-being in the workplace.

Kiganda pivoted STM to focus on mental health and wellness after a deeply personal year in 2022 where she attended six funerals. “After navigating my own mental health challenges and finding my way back to joy, I realized how many people and organizations could benefit from the same support and tools we’ve created to help overcome burnout and find balance and fulfillment,” she said.

Originally focused on transforming brands through design, marketing, and creative strategy, STM expanded its mission to also transform the lives behind the brands. The agency now combines science-backed, holistic workplace wellness experiences—including movement, mindfulness, yoga, and sound baths—with corporate wellness programs and products like Daily Wellness Cards and a companion Journal. These offerings help integrate intentional well-being into employees’ daily routines. STM’s work goes beyond traditional consulting to create measurable shifts in workplace culture and engagement.

Kiganda brings a proven track record of transformation and impact to her corporate clients. She is co-author of Whose Shoes Are You Wearing? 12 Steps to Uncovering the Woman You Really Want to Be, a guide that has helped thousands of women worldwide uncover confidence and purpose. Beyond authorship, she has designed and executed high-profile projects that blend creativity, culture, and wellness—producing immersive events and brand activations that drive engagement and transformation.

By blending creativity, wellness, and actionable tools, STM is redefining how organizations approach employee well-being, helping teams recover from burnout and reconnect with their sense of purpose.
